Hello toddies two families and friends today was a good day we had a lot of morning play outside as the weather was great, not too hot and not too cold!
Miss Parisa sat down with the children at the table to continue on with their Easter bunny craft. Holding out their hands Miss Parisa would then ask the children to choose a colour to paint their hands with. Once the children’s hands were painted they would firmly place their hand onto the bunny and press down to transfer the paint. During this activity the children would talk about how it made their hands all slimy.
Thankyou to Casey’s mum who brought in an empty egg container they had at home. We used this in the afternoon, using thongs to transfer items into each egg compartment. The children thought it was great. If you have any items at home we can recycle please feel free to bring them in
Miss Jasmine did the group times today as Miss Sue was on programming. During group time we sang the good morning song, ABC, twinkle twinkle, numbers and B B bumble B can you say your name for me. We also did some jumping on the mat and then seen who could sit down the fastest then back up and being jumping jacks.
Jack and Jill our new fish friends have been a big hit in the room and the children always ask to see them. This will be good as it can help teach the children about responsibility like when we feed them and change the water over because otherwise they will get very sick.
Chloe was very excited to have her aunty Megan in the room today to help out when Miss Sue was on programming. Thankyou Miss Megan for playing with us and reading some books for us Oliver and Miss Megan played a fire fighting game with the new fire trucks Miss Jasmine brought in yesterday. Oliver would use the fire truck to rescues little people from the doll house. “I got them all out” Oliver told Miss Megan with a massive smile on his face. Miss Jasmine and Miss Megan know each other as they use to work at target together many years ago now!
Evie went over to the big room today to trial it, she did very good and loved it but kept asking to come back to toddlers two. That’s okay Evie we would love to keep you in our class but will keep encouraging little visits over to pre kindy.
Max has also moved up to the big room now with our friend Ryder big tears from Miss Sue today when she found out the news. We will all deeply miss having your lovely faces around all day but we can still see you when your out playing in the big yard! Don’t forget us! All the best in your new big room
In our room Miss Tania has placed a big Easter basket which is for the parents to be able to donate some Easter chocolate/items to go inside. When it is full an Easter raffle will be done $5 for 6 tickets. Each classroom has their own one as all the profit made from the raffle tickets goes to Miss Sue, Jasmine and Parisa to buy fun/educational items for our room! YAY! We would love it if parents/guardians can get around this as we would love to get new fun things for our room! If you have any questions about this don’t hesitate to ask reception or an educator.
Thankyou Amelia for bringing in your Currumbin wildlife photo. It sounds like you had so much fun there we loved hearing about your adventure!
