Hello beautiful families and Happy Friday !
Today the children had a great play as usual in the yard. Last day of the week it was a little harder for some of them to leave mummy and daddy, but once they found their friends from Toddlers 2 and Toddlers 1, they switched quickly in to play mode. They were also singing with miss Rochelle and exploring the sandpit. They liked to watch the bird who was coming in the yard to say hi several times. Then some of ours children went to the gym while we came inside to have morning tea. This morning it was custard and fruits and muesli.
The children liked to explore and self-select from our shelves this morning. It was predominantly the books corner that had been popular this morning. But still some other areas got busy like the Train table and train tracks, the Home corner and looking after the baby dolls.
The children finished their Anzac Day activity. They made a wreath using the green paint on the paper plate while few of them all placed their poppies onto the wreath. Great job everyone. They were also enjoying some role play with the dolls while few were hiding in the cubbyhouse.
Before lunch we danced to Hi Five and enjoyed some play on our veranda. The children enjoyed some time watching the older children doing some Arakan training in the big yard.
Before our yummy lunch we sat for a special group time as we talked about Anzac day. We even practiced a minute silence. Very proud of you all this was an amazing moment. They were all wonderful listeners and are looking forward to our Anzac biscuits for afternoon tea.
To finish our group time we read some Mother’s day books. KISS Kiss about a hippo who forgot to kiss his mum!!!! Beautiful pictures with wild animals. LOVE YOU MUM about Australian animals. I LOVE MUM , this one is about the Hungry Caterpillar and more animals. SPOT LOVES MUM, this was a favourite of course as everyone loves SPOT AND THEIR MUMS. OXOXOXXOXOXOXO
Have a great week end
