Wow what an incredible day we have had,

This morning we were welcomed by some really inviting activities,  Miss Sana had set up our little people amusement park outside this was welcomed by everyone, the children took turns placing the little dolls in the various rides, turning the wheels, spinning the teacup ride and placing dolls on the rollercoaster, this was really great for helping promote some of our fine motor and cognitive abilities.

After we transitioned inside for morning tea we made our way up to the Barnyard Babies, it was so lovely to see how the children interacted with the animals…..although some preferred to observe from a safe distance 🙂, we were lucky to see some chickens, goats  a lamb, some ducks and my personal favorite a pigglet. The children were even given little brushes to groom the animals.

Today we have read the very hungry caterpillar,  this is a fantastic story that helps encourage counting, we have also been encouraging the children to point to the pictures to help with picture/word recognition.

Today has been a fun day filled with lots of exploring with our friends and for many a totally new experience being able to touch and interact with the baby animals.

We wish Miss Cel a speedy recovery as she has been absent today unwell.

Wishing all of our families an amazing weekend!

Lots of love, Miss Rochelle,  Miss Shafagh and Miss Cheryl xoxoxo
