Hello to all of our families and welcome to our fun Friday!

We have had an amazing day today, the weather has been so lovely today that we decided to have our classroom outdoors today, we all enjoyed the fresh breeze and extra space together.

We began our morning activities with a sticky fine motor challenge………using our big black play tray and some strong tape we stuck down an assortment of different bugs, insects and reptiles. The aim of the activity was to encourage the children to “rescue” the creatures from the tape, really putting their fingers to work and strengthening those fine motor muscles and using their cognitive thinking skills of how they would go about it? The activity flowed on to collecting the tiny critters in our own containers for further investigation…..A big thank you to Emmys mum for donating the bag of jars and boxes these were perfect for our experience today.

We were having so much fun outdoors with our activities that our friends from babies two joined in this was great for our socialising skills….its really nice to watch at times the various bonds that have formed over the year between the two classes. We enjoyed some self selected play activities until lunch with our friends.

We have placed near our sign in sheets some weekend sheets if you would like to share your weekend adventures with the class we would love that! We then will use these experiences to build further activities to encourage your childrens learning in the interests they love the most xoxo

We wish everyone an amazing long weekend and look forward to seeing you all next week! (Tuesday 8th Oct)

Miss Rochelle and Miss Anita xoxo
