Happy Monday lovely families!
It has been a lovely day today in the baby’s room. This morning the babies started their day off in the yard. Mason had fun searching through the big boxes, puling himself up and pulling out different toys. Henry enjoyed playing with the big bouncy yellow ball with Miss Bronagh. Miss Bronagh bounced the ball and Henry would laugh and chase after it. Holly had fun on the see-saw, making it move back and forward all by herself. Toby had lots of cuddles with Miss Bronagh and some tummy time. Adelin sat beside Miss Bronagh rolling a small ball back and forth, back, and forth.
We used group time today to recenter the class and recharge heightened emotions. To aid the babies we did actions songs and sung:
- Open shut them
- Mr Sun Sun, Mr Golden Sun.
- Baa, baa black sheep
- Hunpty Dumpty
Once the babies re-centred, we did our aboriginal acknowledgment
For our activity today, we continued from our painting from last week. Mason, Henry and Adelin enjoyed getting paint on their fingers and making a big mess. They used red, blue, green, and yellow. Our friends used their fine motor skills to hold the paintbrush and roller brush, to create their very own masterpiece
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend,
Miss Des’ree and Miss Bronagh
