A big hello to all of our families,  we hope everyone has had an amazing day!

Today we welcomed our new friend Ari to our class, he has done so well and made some lovely new friends, we are all looking forward to getting to know little Ari lots more over the coming weeks.

We began our new focus of looking at some of our native australian animals,  we have decided to do this based on our class interest and love of animals and with the recent fires Queensland has been experiencing this is also a way of showing an appreciation towards all the beautiful wildlife we have in our bushlands. Today we began with our grouptime sitting together looking at a variety of flash cards looking at being able to identify and familiarise  the children to the animals, we tried to imitate the sounds that the animals make…..some of us could even jump like kangaroos! We also listened to some new poems, with emus koalas and a kangaroo, the children were all very enthusiastic towards this new adventure….tomorrow we will be creating our very own special koalas!

We had Tumble Tots this morning with Miss Kim, she was very proud to report how fantastic everyone is doing up at gymnastics,  we all had so much energy today and did especially well on the balancing beam .

We hope everyone has a great evening!

Miss Rochelle and Miss Anita xoxo
