Wow what a wonderful Wednesday!

Today we have had lots of fun with our friends and done lots of exploring and investigating .

We began our day welcoming our friends and playing outdoors, we loved our bikes again today and especially had fun kicking our new soccer ball, we also did really well with our hula hoops spinning them and doing all kinds of tricks for our friends.

We moved inside at 9am ready for our morning tea, we had some yummy raisin toast and fresh fruit followed by a big drink of water, for most of us it was then time to head up to gymnastics,  Miss Rochelle was lucky to go with the children today, Miss Kim had set up some ropes for the children to explore,  we also were able to do all of our favourite things like jumping into the foam pit, balancing and the swinging bars. While we were away Miss Anita was busy setting up our activity for today…..today we did an activity centered around a special experience that our lovely Arlo had while holidaying in Singapore….Arlo came face to face with a REAL LIFE IGUANA! Thank you so much to Arlo’s family for sharing his experience and sending in the amazing photos. We gave the class the opportunity to paint their own iguanas using orange paint and then the children added sand to give the appearance of the iguanas rough skin, the sand segment of the activity was especially popular with the children all doing so well with trying to sprinkle the sand carefully over their page. We also offered the pom pom activity again today, the children have been so enthusiastic towards this activity and it really offers so much to their fine motor development which is an added bonus to the children.

After a busy morning we were all ready for our lunch…today was chicken nibblets and roasted veges with a homemade herb and vege gravy.

After lunch it was time for a wel deserved rest . We can’t wait to head back outside for a fun afternoon with our friends from babies two.

We hope you all have a great evening.

Miss Rochelle and Miss Anita xoxo
