Good Evening Families, we hope you have had a nice day!
It has been SO humid today so we made sure we all had lots of water throughout the day, the air con was on inside and we offered both indoor/outdoor play throughout the day to keep the children cool.
This morning the children participated in a number of activities outside, these activities were:
Large Lego Block Play – Building towers, identifying colours and counting.
Easel Play – using water to wipe the see through screen, and playing peek a boo with our friends.
Soft block play – testing our physical skill abilities – Crawling, Climbing, Jumping
Cleaning our furniture using wipes! So helpful!
It was very warm so we came inside right on 9am to enjoy some yoghurt and berries for morning tea! All our babies loved this and thought it was delicious!
We had a bit of a busy day today with trainers coming in to visit our room, so our day was full of free play and self selection. On the carpet with enjoyed building with the duplo blocks, and our educators offered the threading activity again. The children also took an interest in transport play and home corner. All the children shared the toy cars so nicely and it was beautiful to see everyone playing together. At the table a drawing activity was set up using pencils. The children enjoyed watching Miss Stacey write their names and had lots of fun drawing! We also opened the door for 15 minutes to watch Mr Peter glue down some of the artificial grass this was lots of fun to watch. We also enjoy taking turns to blow bubbles and pop them with our fingers!
After a busy morning we returned inside for some lunch. Today we had cous cous and crumbed fish, with salad. It was super delicious.
Our friends were then well and truly ready for a sleep so it was time to say goodnight and let our little babes rest!
When we woke up we applied lots of sunscreen, enjoyed some afternoon tea and went back outside for an afternoon of fun, playing with the babies 1 children.
We hope you have a fabulous weekend babies, thank you for a great week!
Lots of love,
Miss Stacey and Miss Sana xx
