Hello Parents and Families. Today has been fantastic in the Babies 2 Room! Our day began with news that we can go outside as the roof is now near completion and safe to use, HURRAY!! Straight after morning tea we all rushed outside to stretch our legs. Penny, Elle and Audrey were the first ones out the door and ran circles around the yard. Samar watched them smiling, she thought what they were doing looked fun so she joined in too and began running around the yard. Zyanna and Jude had a perplexed look on their faces while watching the others running but then smiled with delight as they were happy to be outside. Miss Hayley set up the kinetic sand table and the climbing equipment. Elle was first on the slide, in fact she started climbing up the stairs before Miss Hayley had put them into place, Samar then followed and before we knew it everyone was trying to have a turn of the slide.
Once the excitement had calmed down a bit Miss Hayley invited everyone to sit down for group time. She sang Open Shut Them, If Your Happy And You Know It, Three Cheeky Monkeys, Twinkle Twinkle and Incy Wincy Spider. She then talked to the babies about their faces, Eyes and Ears and Mouths and Noses. The babies enjoyed showing their wiggly ears Miss Stacey. After group time was finished the babies became very cuddly, everyone had to have a cuddle with Miss Hayley, at one point Penny, Audrey, Elle, Zyanna and Samar were all cuddling Miss Hayley at Once. It was very sweet.
We spent the rest of our day doing lots of Arts & Craft. Play dough, Painting, Collages and drawing. Lots of fun was had by all. See you tomorrow babies.
