Good Evening Families,

We’ve had a beautiful, yet busy day here in the babies two room. Here’s what happened…

We were joined by Miss Sarah from Toddlers this morning who opened in the babies 1 room. Whilst in this room we enjoyed hanging the clothes on the clothes line using pegs, great for our fine motor skills! We played with the farm yard toys, identifying all the animals and their sounds and we loved playing in the home corner, pretending to eat our yummy creations!

At 7:45am the children were more than ready to go outside for a play. There were lots of activities set up, but also plenty of space for the children to explore. Whilst outside we enjoyed clinging the soft block, riding the bikes, bouncing on the dragons, blowing bubbles, pushing the prams, reading books and rolling and kicking the yoga balls. It was very busy outside!

At 8:45am Miss Sana arrived and we decided we were more than ready to go inside. We all followed Miss Sana into our classroom and started getting our nappies changed. It was then time for some delicious morning tea. This morning we enjoyed fresh fruit and yoghurt. It was so yummy.

By 9:30am we all made sure we were all clean and ready to go to Tumble Tots with Miss Kim and Miss Kate. We love how happy and excited the children get when they go to this class!

Whilst Daisy, Ella, Onyx and Levi were busy at Tumble Tots, Alby and Isla got stuck into our Christmas Craft for the day which was finger painting Christmas lights. Miss Sana showed the children their index finger and assisted them to put dots all over the page. Both Alby and Isla really enjoyed this activity.

When the other children returned, they all participated in this fine motor activity as well and all had a lot of fun!

After a busy morning, it was time for some lunch and a rest to re-energize for a fun afternoon!

Thanks for a great day babies

Lots of Love,

Miss Stacey and Miss Sana xx
