Good afternoon to all of our families and welcome to our Tuesday!
We have had a wonderful day today returning to our rainforest project. This time we have worked on creating our own lizards…..We started out by looking at some images of Australian reptiles, we spoke about how they looked and what we thought they might feel like? Then we got started on our painting activity. Today we tried something completely new and different….We painted using silicone bottle brushes, with the spikey yet soft bristles we were able to create some fun and amazing patterns! This was a really great way to get us all involved in a new experience.
We introduced a new story today at our story time….”Brown bear brown bear what do you see?” This is a really great colour book along with building simple language, and it is published by the same author as the hungry caterpillar Eric Carle. Our class loved this today, so we will continue to keep reading and enjoying this story over the coming weeks.
We hope you all have a wonderful evening ,
Miss Rochelle and Miss Roya xx
