Good Evening Families,

What a beautiful, HOT day we have had today!

Our morning began outside, listening to some toddler tunes and waving hello to our friends as they arrived. It was super warm this morning, so we all made sure we wore our hats and applied sunscreen.

When we returned inside we enjoyed some delicious fruit and berry jelly for morning tea. It was delicious.

We then got straight into our activity today. Continuing on from our activity yesterday, today we collaged the orange stripe of the rainbow. Those of us that were here yesterday were familiar with the concept and had no trouble getting stuck straight into the activity. Once we completed the orange stripe, we put it to dry and the children chose that our next colour will be the colour purple!

For the rest of activity time we let the children explore the room and initiate play that they had interest in. Activities included: Looking at ourselves in the mirror, making friends, building with the soft sensory blocks, playing in home corner, and using the felt board. We then extended further by using the felt shapes to identify colours and shapes. We then got paper and drew some shapes at the table with Miss Sana. This was so much fun!

Today’s Highlights:

Ella has been so caring all day, she has loved giving her friends cuddles.

Adam was a great help at lunch time today, handing out everyone’s bowls and drink bottles.

Onyx just adored Adam today, she loved playing with him.

Mack is using excellent language whilst at kindy and was able to name all the shapes! Well done.

Levi loved this mornings berry jelly. He was last at the table and even asked for seconds!

Isla has taken a few small steps here and there! We can see her confidence building and we are so proud!

Emilia loved looking at herself on the iPad. She found it super funny when she could see her reflection.

Alby loved relaxing on the couches in book corner. He looked super calm and comfortable with his hands supporting his head and his legs crossed.

Thank you for a great day babies,

Lots of Love,

Miss Sana and Miss Stacey xx
