Good afternoon families,
Today we had lots of fun and learning experiences in our room. Children were so busy playing with the variety of toys. Abigail played with the musical instruments. Oakley was so busy playing with sensory bottles. He liked to shake them and make loud noises. Lachlan was working on his walking by pushing a trolley. Henry, Oaklyn, Lane and Orlando preferred to play with lock boxes and puzzles.
In our planned activity, to extend our learning and commemorating ANZAC Day, all children helped to decorate the wall with poppies. They all enjoyed the activity. This activity helped children to improve their fine and gross motor skills, colour recognition and language skills.
Children had lots of fun outside. Oakley rocked the rockers. Abigail was improving her standing up skills by holding the fence.Orlando asked for drawing. We set it up on the table. Oaklyn, Henry, Lachlan, Lane and Kaya were so excited about it. They all sat on their chairs and chose their favourite colours. After the drawing, Oaklyn asked for puppet play. We sang lots of songs playing with puppets and practiced number and animal sounds.
Have a great weekend
