Good afternoon families

Welcome back to a new and exciting week here in babies three. How was your weekend??
All our little learners were very excited to be here, going on many fun adventures together.

Today we were involved in lots of fun learning activities. Lots of outdoor play climbing, riding bikes, circus tent, puppets, balls and books.
Indoor  activities being full of fun learning experiences. Painting, discovery bags and bottles, home corner, blocks and dancing fun.

Our art exploration today was having our hands painted with the colours of the aboriginal flag then printing them onto paper to make a poster recognising sorry day tomorrow 26th May 2020. All the children enjoyed this sensory experience.

On our pathway towards reconciliation, Sorry Day on 26 May is an important moment to remember the past policies of forced child removal. Here, we reflect on the sad and painful history of the Stolen Generations and recognise moments of resilience, healing and the power of saying Sorry.

Lots of moving and grooving along to our favourite action songs, during our group times activities. Open Shut Them, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Heads and Shoulders, Dingle Dangle Scare Crow and Hot Potato, being just a few of our songs we enjoyed.

Archie had a surprise visit from his Uncle Darren and cousin Millar. Little Miller is new here at Benowa Hills and will be in the Toddlers room. Thank you for stopping by and saying hello after your visit to Toddlers Millar. With a high five and knuckles to his Uncle Darren Archie waved goodbye.

Lots of fun on the large foam blocks and stepping stones were had as Annie, Zac, Carter and Archie climbed, balanced and ran all enjoying this fun game together.

Saylor and Summer enjoyed each other’s company as they built and knocked down and rebuilt the alphabet/ number blocks together. Darcy soon happily joining her friends telling her friends the colour of each block as they stacked them. Darcy showed Miss Deb the blocks with numbers on recognising each number telling Miss Deb the number and colour of each block. Well done Darcy!

We have all had a super fun day, see you all again soon.

Have a lovely afternoon everyone ?

Love Miss Deb and Miss Shafagh xxoo ❤️❤️
