Welcome back to another fun learning week here in our beautiful babies three room. We hope everyone had a fantastic weekend!

Today we continued on with our winter learning adventures, lots of sensory activities as we recognised animals that live in the snow. We placed a sensory tray on the table for the children to explore. Lots of soft fluffy cotton wool balls for the snow with laminated pictures of a variety of animals that live and love the icey cold snow. All our little friends really enjoyed this fun learning experience, sharing it with their friends. Loads of sharing and talking as we sat and discussed the animals, and how cold it would be there.

Today during our group time art experience we used a variety of shapes and colours of felt and pieces of wool to make fluffy winter mittens. Our little friends enjoyed sitting at the table together using thick brushes to spread the glue over the paper and then choosing the materials of their choice to decorate the mittens. Loads of talking together as they eagerly set to work. Hand eye coordination, sensory, pincer grip, fine motor skills, sharing and imagination was developed through this fun learning activity.

During our outdoor adventures we sang and done the actions to Heads And Shoulders Knees And Toes, If Your Happy And You Know It, ABC, Open Shut Them and Rock A Bye Your Bear. Obstacle course, balls, bubbles, bead maze and bikes also being of interest with our little ones.

Home corner, sensory bottles and discovery bags. Books, duplo blocks and musical instruments. Construction table and farm animals being of interest during our indoor activities.

We have all had an amazing day, see you all again soon.

Have a great afternoon everyone ?

Loads of Love Miss Deb and Miss Shafagh xxoo ❤️❤️
