Good afternoon families,

Today we had lots of fun and all the children enjoyed playing outside most of the time. We started our day playing with their friends in babies 1&2 outside area. They had a great time playing with the frog and variety of toys there. When it was time for us to transition back to our room we all lined up and marched to the song The Ants  Go Marching all the way to our room.

We all had some time to settle in before we sat down to enjoy our yummy morning tea. When our little tummies were full we all came together on the mat to sing our morning song. I then asked our little friends to choose a song / nursery rhyme to sing. Baa Baa Black Sheep was the first choice of all our little ones followed by Open Shut Them, If Your Happy And You Know It, Baby Shark and Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer. We then lined up at the door, popped our hats on and excitedly ran outside.

The large foam blocks were enjoyed by all, building with them, stacking them up and climbing onto them they would then gain their balance and jump Yaaaay!! They then moved onto the bikes, having races around the yard trying to catch up with their friends. Stepping stones also were enjoyed as they stepped carefully onto each one trying to keep their balance.

Our stories today were That’s Not My Elf and The Rainbow Race.

Lots of tummy time for our littlest learners. Cognitive toys, books, soft blocks and fine motor toys were placed near them for them to explore.

Tomorrow is our Christmas party from 10-11am. We hope to see you there 🎄🎁🎅🏻

wishing you all a great afternoon
