Good Afternoon Families
We have all had a great day, sharing lots of fun learning experiences Cognitive and fine motor skills being explored throughout the day as they moved around both our indoor and outdoor areas self selecting from the array of activities on offer.Building with the large foam blocks then seeing what happens when they push them. Clapping as they tumble to the ground with a crash. Our animal peek a boo was a wonderful cause and effect and fine motor skill learning experience. Pressing buttons, twisting knobs and pulling leavers, watching and waiting for the animals to pop up, then closing the lids to do it again.
Through the children showing interest in colour recognition, we went on a grand adventure finding lots of red objects. Once we had collected them we all sat so nicely on the mat and looked through our treasures. We then continued on with a colour red recognition by reading The Rainbow Race. Some of our little learners pointed out red in the pictures, saying red. Well done!! We will keep learning the colour red over the next two weeks, so as they will be able to able to recognise the colour. Please if you have anything red at home and you would be happy to share we would that.
Crayon drawing, books, animal connector blocks. Sensory bottles, home corner and shape sorters. Large foam blocks, bikes, balls and sand being a few of our little learners interest.
Until next time ? Have a great afternoon everyone.
Love Miss Deb and Miss Shafagh xxoo ❤️❤️
