Good Afternoon Families
We have all had a fantastic day full of fun learning experiences. Today we celebrated International Nurses Day. A big Thank you to all our Amazing nurses for the Amazing jobs they do, for the care they give and love they share, for their dedication and for their sacrifices we are very grateful. Thank you ?
International Nurses Day is celebrated around the world every May 12, the anniversary of Florence Nightingale’s birth. ICN commemorates this important day each year with the production and distribution of the International Nurses’ Day (IND) resources and evidence.
To celebrate and show our appreciation we all enjoyed making a poster to display on our fence. We used our hands and lots of bright paint to make the poster stand out.
In our outdoor area we all had so many laughs as we tried on a variety of different coloured straw hats. We also enjoyed our sensory bottles, being very interested in the objects that were inside, lots of pretty glitter, beads, coloured sand and fluffy Pom poms. Bikes, balls and bubbles also being of interest.
For our group time activity today we were all very excited to see the play dough being placed onto the table, along with a variety of objects to explore with, there were feathers, sticks, cookie cutters, shells and sand moulds.
We danced to Baby Shark ? clapped our hands and stamped our feet to If Your Happy And You Know It ? and twinkled our fingers to Twinkle Twinkle Little Star ⭐️ We enjoyed looking through books, playing with the large dinosaurs ? and farm animals ??? We had fun with balloons giggling as we hit them into the air.
We have all had a wonderful day full of fun learning adventures
Have a lovely afternoon everyone ? see you all again soon
