Good Afternoon Families
We have had a wonderful day today with loads of fun activities. Obstacle course, balls, bubbles, sand, circus tent and bikes were a few of our interests in our outdoor area.
Our fun continued in doors, were we happily explored with our friends. Stacking rings and cups, home corner, books, blocks, discovery bottles and bags, hand puppets and farm animals were all enjoyed by our little learners as they self selected their interest from the array of resources on offer.
Our little friends get very excited when they hear Baby Shark play and begin to do the actions as well as jumping around to the catchy tune. Heads And Shoulders Knees And Toes, I’m A Little Teapot, Hot Potato and Rock A Bye Your Bear being some of their favourites too.
During reconciliation week this week we have enjoyed being involved in learning about the Aboriginal People through art and music. All our little learners enjoyed having their hands painted with the colours of the Aboriginal flag, we painted multi cultural paper dolls, explored play dough of red, black and yellow, using natural resources. They happily used sticks stones, shells bark and leaves as they used their imaginations to make some magnificent sculptures. Dot painting also was a fun activity which our little ones enjoyed. We listened to Aboriginal dream time music while we ate our lunch and loved dancing along to the didgeridoo music. To extend on this we will be painting our own didgeridoo using a very large cardboard cyclinder.
We have all had a fabulous week, and a great day.
Happy Friday everyone, have a great weekend, and we will see all your happy faces next week.
Loads of Love Miss Deb and Miss Shafagh xxoo ❤️❤️
