Good Afternoon Families
Friday already! We have certainly had a very busy week full of so many fun learning adventures.
Today we were all involved in a Halloween cooking experience, we all took turns in adding the ingredients then mixing our chocolate cup cake concoction around in our cauldron. Once our cup cakes were cooked we all decorated them with orange frosting and chose a spooky edible decoration to pop on top. They had ghosts, jack o lanterns, witches, bats and black cats to choose from. They all had so much fun, and the cup cakes were delicious! Cooking encourages children’s thinking, problem-solving, and creativity. It also allows children the opportunity to use the knowledge they have and apply it by counting, measuring, following sequence, following directions, and cause and effect.
Our outdoor activities also was full of fun. We had a variety of activities for our little friends to choose from. Using our chubby crayons we had the opportunity to make beautiful art using our easel to hold the paper for us. Musical instruments, blocks, cars/trucks, balls, books and a magnificent obstacle course let our imaginations run wild.
A big apology for no photos today but we are having troubles uploading them. Please see photos of our day attached to our daily program near the front entrance Thank you for your understanding
We have had such a beautiful happy day 😀
Enjoy your weekend everyone!
Lots of love Miss Deb and Miss Shafagh xxoo 💖💖
