Good Afternoon Families

Welcome back to another week of fun learning adventures. I hope you all enjoyed your long weekend.

Today we all enjoyed exploring in our fantastic outdoor area. A variety of learning activities on offer for our little explorers to explore. Musical instruments for our little musicians. Balls, climbing equipment, rockers and bikes helping our little athletes develop their spatial awareness, social skills and gross motor skills as they climbed, balanced, rode, kicked and threw all while we engaged in play with our friends. Our sand pit also being popular with some, as they filled their buckets with sand. Some amazing hand eye coordination being developed as they transferred the sand from one bucket to the other.

Today we also had our Art Therapy Lesson with Miss V and Miss K. This week we continued on learning all about our 5 senses, this week being all about smell. We all enjoyed a story with Miss K in our outdoor area before we transitioned inside for art with both Miss V and Miss K. Our book today was called What Are Roses For! Miss K used some lovely sweet smelling roses for props so as we could experience what roses smelt like. We then all created a medallion  out of clay. We pressed tiny shells into the clay and then added a hole for us to thread string through so as we can wear our beautiful piece. Then a spritz of some sweet smelling essential oil making it smell nice.

We have all had a wonderful day. See you all again soon.

Have a lovely afternoon everyone ?

Love Miss Deb and Miss Shafagh xxoo ❤️
