Welcome back to another week in Babies Three,
We hope that your weekend was full of adventures and fun.
All our little learners seemed to be happy to be back, exploring with their friends enjoying the adventures and learning experiences together.
Outdoors we shared some very happy moments, as we used our problem solving skills to stack the stacking cups and puzzles. Our gross motor skills as we rode bikes, and tackled the large foam block obstacle course. Hand Eye Coordination as we kicked and rolled the big balls to each other.
Our indoor activities were focused around Chinese New Year and Australia Day. Some of our little friends finished their art work for our wall display ( Chinese Laterns, Chinese Dragons, koalas ) We danced along to some beautiful Chinese music and as we played we listened to some Australian songs ( Waltzing Matilda, We Are One and our National Anthem)
Loads of child initiated activities as they sat amongst the loose part area on the mat. Opening jars, building with blocks, scarves, rings and a variety of empty containers and boxes. Lots of imaginative play , sharing, fine motor skills, social and language skills, all in this wonderful area.
Our musical instruments also popular as well as books, discovery bottles and shape sorters.
We have all had a fantastic day, see you all again soon.
Have a great afternoon:))
Love Miss Deb and Miss Shafagh xxoo
