Good Afternoon Families
Oh my gosh!! What a fantastic day! Lots of big smiles for their photos with all the children looking very shmick in their fancy clothes.
Play dough in Halloween colours as well as adding some creepy crawling insects to the soft squishy dough we then added some beautiful smelling oils. All the senses being explored through this awesome activity.
Extending on from this activity the children were offered 2 trick or treat buckets, tongs and some more creepy crawling insects. Our little learners were encouraged to use the tongs to pick up the insects and place them into a bucket. Social skills, fine motor, small muscle development and hand eye coordination being developed through this fun learning experience.
Today we also enjoyed making jelly, being part of our Halloween theme we made purple and orange with a few edible eyeballs added to the mix. Once these are set we will get to eat them Yummy!!!!
Our book we enjoyed today were Nursery Rhymes. Our little learners really loved this book, getting very excited when they recognised some of the Rhymes. Humpty Dumpty, Little Miss Muffet, Baa Baa Black Sheep and Hey Diddle Diddle.
Thank you all for such a beautiful day 🤗
See you again soon
Love Miss Deb and Miss Shafagh xxoo ❤️❤️
