Welcome back from our long weekend! We hope everyone enjoyed their little break.

Today our little learners were involved in creating a Spider for our Halloween display. Pine cones, black paint and pretty glitter was used to create our Incy Wincys. The children loved the experience of rolling their pine cones through the glitter. Hand eye coordination and sensory experience being developed through this wonderful learning activity. When our spiders are dry we will add pipe cleaners for legs and googly  eyes
Our story today was a lift the flap book called Where Is Mrs Spider all the children taking it in turns to lift a flap revealing what was hiding underneath.

Extending on from our story today we sang Incy Wincy Spider. And Six Little Bats.

Our outdoor activities enjoyed today were bikes, balls and large foam blocks.
Our spontaneous activities included bubbles and playdough. Our little friends loved using the playdough to make cup cakes and snakes. Squishing, rolling and patting the playdough while we sang Pat A Cake Pat A Cake Bakers Man.

Home corner, blocks, books and our loose parts basket being just a few of our little friends indoor interests.

We have all had a wonderful day, see you all again soon.

Have a great afternoon everyone

Love Miss Deb and Miss Shafagh xxoo 💖💖
