Good Afternoon Families
We have all had a super day full of fun learning adventures with our friends.
During our outdoor activities we explored the sand pit with buckets, spades and sieves. Miss Deb then offered us a bucket of rocks from the garden. Using our imagination we used the rocks to build a wall a very cool rock sculpture and drove the cars down a very rocky road. Some of our little friends enjoyed burying the rocks in the sand.
Lots of gross motor skills being used as we ran, walked, jumped and even rolled down the large foam blocks, squealing with so much excitement. Our large gym ball was of interest with our little athletes, helping our new little walkers keep their balance as they happily pushed it around the outdoor area.
Hand eye coordination being developed as our little ones enjoyed hitting the soft foam ball with the little plastic rackets to each other. Bikes, bubbles, books and connector blocks also being of interest during our outdoor activities.
Our group time activity was a spontaneous adventure. Our little learners asking to draw. We placed a large sheet of white paper onto the table. We then offered the children a choice of colourful crayons or Textas. They all preferred the bright colours of the textas, as well as enjoying taking the lids on and off. When our master piece was done we helped Miss Deb hang it on the wall for everyone to admire. Miss Deb and Miss Shafagh said we are real artists!!
Snuggled up with books in book corner, role play in home corner. Building with a variety of different blocks in our construction area. Cars, trucks and emergency vehicles, farm and jungle animals being a few of the activities our little learners enjoyed during our indoor play.
We have a had a magnificent day, thank you for joining us.
Have a great afternoon everyone. See you all again soon.
Love Miss Deb and Miss Shafagh xxoo ???❤️
