Good Afternoon Families
Today in our beautiful room we all had many adventures together, happily chatting, sharing and exploring the variety of learning resources we had on offer.
Our outdoor area was busy with our little learners chasing, catching and popping bubbles that flowed out of our bubble machine. Obstacle course was a challenge for our little ones as they climbed, slid, and crawled on, over and down, strengthening their little muscles. Our ball pit always a favourite as they dive into the colourful balls watching them spill out. The circus tent is a great place for the bubs to have a moment of solitude, sitting amongst the cosy cushions looking through a variety of books.
Our adventures continued on in our indoor area with Patrick, Jaxon and Isla enjoying the cognitive toys we had placed on the mat for them to discover. Birdie, Pip and Annie bustled about in home corner and also enjoyed trying the hand puppets on, making the noises of the animals they chose. Archie and Saylor’s interests were the posting boxes using their problem solving skills and hand eye coordination as well as their fine motor skills to post sticks, blocks and lids into the correct container.
Recently our babies have been showing a huge interest in the song Baby Shark, learning the actions and jigging around to the catchy tune. So to further on with their interest in this fun loving song today during our art experience we sang our favourite song as we dabbed blue paint onto cardboard using a variety of sponges Hand eye coordination, fine motor skills, colour recognition and language development all being developed through this fun learning experience. Later our art was transformed magically into sharks!!!!! Yaaaay!!!! Such clever bubbas :))
We have all had a wonderful day, see you all again soon.
Love Miss Deb and Miss Shafagh xxoo
