Good Evening Families,
What a relaxing, happy Friday we have had. The children got to say hello to lots of by standers this morning as the coffee van was set up right outside our classroom. The children had a front row view of all the happy children and families and got an insight on how to make coffee (great learning for the future years to come) The babies got a lot of hellos and met lots of new friends at the fence line.
The construction of the new babies room is still under going so it was also fun to watch the men work with their wheelbarrows and shovels, moving dirt and working hard.
Our day was based around the children and what they wished to participate in. The home corner was utilised a lot today and Miss Sana spent some quality time with the children reading lots of new stories and books. Our favourite books today were ones that were interactive. Miss Sana read a book with a puppet koala which the children loved cuddling, a flip book to find the missing animals and we listened to ‘There was an old Lady who swallowed a Fly’ via audio. Throughout the morning the children also enjoyed building with the wooden blocks and using their cognitive skills to play with the cause and effect toys.
Emilia has been practising really hard to stand all on her own. She is doing a fantastic job and we are so proud!
Isla loved playing with the sensory bags. Miss Sana and Miss Stacey plan to make some more of these next week as they are lots of fun for the children.
Bowie and Adam are just the best of friends. They show such empathy, care and respect for one another and it’s just so beautiful to watch.
Onyx loved playing with the scarves today. She would place the scarf over her head and laugh. It was very cute to watch!
Daisy was very independent today. She loved exploring the room on her own extending where her interests were which included the home corner and playing with the Peek-A-Boo caterpillar.
Thank you friends for another lovely week. We hope you have a fabulous weekend! We hope you are enjoying the videos that we occasionally get the opportunity to upload, it gives families a different perspective into our day and what we get up too!
Lots of Love,
Miss Stacey and Miss Sana x
