Good Evening Families, we hope you have had a nice day!
Today was a busy day with our friend George starting Thursday’s today. He settled incredibly well and we are so glad that he can join us for an extra day each week!
Our new friend Ava joined us today for another play before starting next week! She is such a happy girl and we know she is going to fit in perfectly into our babies family.
Our goal for today was to complete our train that we started yesterday. Our educators helped to cut out some extra cardboard to make the front carriage of the train, and our soft toys sat in the passenger carriages. The train looks fantastic so thank you to all our friends for using your creativity and imagination!
Today’s activity was extending on our colours interest again, we re-introduced the colour sorting ball game which tested our cognitive thinking skills. It was a lot of fun
Rafaela went for a play up in the toddlers room again today. She is adapting really well and we know she will be wonderful when it is time for her to move up!
Mack and Zephyr have been best buds today! Mack initiated a lot of play with Zephyr, taking him around the room and offering different activities for them to participate in.
George used excellent self help skills today. At lunch time he did an excellent job of feeding himself using his fork.
Isla is really starting to move. She is trying very hard to crawl and was able to move herself from one end of the mat to the other. Well done Isla.
Onyx loved sittng next to isla at lunch time. She became very chatty and smilely.
Abbi loved sitting on the bouncy ball and being bounced. She used her core muscles and balance to stay upright on the ball. Well done.
Franki is learning to jump. She would hold Miss Sana and Miss Stacey’s hands and bend her knees attempting to lift her feet. This activity made her so happy and giggly it was very cute.
Thank you babies for another wonderful day. Don’t forget about our wonderful community event coming up this Saturday. ‘The 3B’s’ is a community event run by local schools and kindergarten’s. This years theme is ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar.’ Please join us at the Botanical Gardens for a morning of fun, activities and sunshine. More information for this event is displayed on our door. We hope to see you there!
Lots of Love,
Miss Sana and Miss Stacey x
