Happy Tuesday Kindergarten 1 Families,
What a great day we had today! In the morning we made the most out of our ourdoor area, exploring the sandpit and mud kitchen, climbing up and sliding down the fort and practicing our balance skills on the obstacle course.
We came inside for some super yummy morning tea and loved singing our good morning song at group time before transitioning to the buffet. The children have been saying their first and last name to line up for ‘star of the day’ and the have all been getting so good in remembering their full name! Well done.
After morning tea we set up a few activities at the table. We started our Halloween decorations and made Bats using Bat stencils and finger dots. We took it in turns and always had 2 to 3 children at a time doing their art. All of them did so well taking their time, using their great fine motor and following the instructions. Well done.
We had a table full of puzzles which the children really enjoyed. They made sure to sort all the pieces to the right puzzle and to than put them together. Well done and great problem solving skills!
Our last table was set up with free drawing and collaging the children were able to cut and draw and glue and follow their own imagination and creativity!
In our free play area we saw lots of friends building with the big blocks as well as exploring home corner and using our little natural piece basket area to explore and be creative.
Thank you for a fantastic day and see you all again tomorrow
Please remember to please return your child’s signed Transition Statement Consent form ASAP and we Kindy photos are all of this week.
