This morning outside, Lillian, Abigail, Daniella and Sofia were at the drawing table. Lillian was telling her friends how she had just lost her tooth in the morning at kindy and that her new adult tooth is coming through. Emmett enjoyed catching ladybugs around the tree area. He had a container where he was playing them inside.

At group time, we completed our Acknowledgement to Country. Then we went through the roll for both Kindergarten 1 and Kindergarten 2. Miss Jade told the children that they could greet her in English or in another language if they knew. After the roll, Chen Xi chose the days of the week song and we then completed our daily calendar and weather. Miss Jade and Mr Don then handed out any gifts that the children had brought in for their friends.

At activity time, Lyla, Spencer T, Hannah, Olivia and Alexander were playing in home corner. Some children were dressing up while others were pretending to cook. Shion enjoyed the number puzzle. He had to make sure all the numbers were in the correct order for him to complete it correctly. Aristotelis, Spencer M and Conner were playing with the Mobilo. The children were building cars and trucks. The boys would then take them around the room to drive. Carter, Cooper P, Cooper T and Charlie enjoyed playing with the cars. They were driving each of their cars along the table to race against each other. Lillian, Abigail, Daniella and Sofia were at the drawing and Arts and Craft table. They used the leftover calendar templates to create calendars for themselves. They specifically used bright and colourful colours to draw with. Sara and Arianna had lots of fun with the magnetic dress ups. The girls were creating various outfits and even made some funny designs which made them laugh. Chen Xi and Kallum were playing with the magnetic tubes. They were using them in the doll house and even used the animals to pretend to play. Emmett enjoyed the animal floor puzzle. He worked independently to complete as much as he could on his own. He did just a wonderful job.

At group time, Miss Jade read a Christmas story for the children. The story was called ‘Oscar the Unicorn Eats Christmas.’ The children enjoyed how he was eating everything he came across before Christmas arrived! Then, Lillian and Aristotelis shared their Show and Tell. Lillian brought in a nurse toy as she wanted to be a vet when she was older while Aristotelis brought in his sunglasses.

For the table activities, the children enjoyed drawing, connecting flowers, floor puzzles, memory game and magnetic sticks.

For group time, the children chose various songs to sing and dance to.
