Hello and happy FRIYAY to all our wonderful Kindergarten 1 friends and families, welcome to Friday the 11th of October 2019.
This morning was a bit of a cloudy day but we still all enjoyed playing and exploring our yard and outdoor area. We had the train tracks out up on the deck, hop scotch mat, obstacle course with climbing frames, stepping stones, balance beams and hurdles the course was lots of creating lots obstacles for everyone to problem solve the children also used the large Lego blocks to create their own obstacle at the end of the course. We loved seeing the creativity and imagination.
Today was also the perfect weather to fly all our paper planes high in the sky catching the wind slightly and taking flight, we had planes flying everywhere, all our friends constructed their own planes and decorated them at the drawing table.
As we heard from a little bird that we maybe in for a shower or two this afternoon we stayed outside a little while longer together with all our friends from Kindergarten 2 until just before 10am. Once it was time for us all to head inside for the morning we all washed our hands, hats away and joined Miss Sophie on the mat for group time. We sung our daily songs and greetings. Today our Be Kind gesture is Hi-Five Friday.
The children transitioned from mat time straight to morning tea, today we had a berry jelly, yogurt and a platter of fresh fruit from banana pieces, rockmelon and apple slices. We had lots of friends really enjoy the yogurt and jelly this morning eating it all up!
Once all our friends had finished eating their morning tea we continued with our Halloween decorations today. We cut out some pumpkins and spooky faces to glue on them. Everyone did a fantastic job with cutting and using scissors. Well done!
Our friends also had Arakan today with Mr Daniel out in the sandpit area.
We had a very imaginative morning and loved doing our Halloween cutting craft.
