Hello and a very happy FriYAY to all our wonderful Kindergarten 1 friends and families. Welcome to Friday the 14th of June 2019.
This morning we made our way outside a little earlier as we had our Biggest Morning Tea inside our Kindergarten 1 room. What a great turn out we had many friends and families come and support the Biggest Morning Tea for the Cancer Council. We had lots of yummy treats to eat, games to play with prizes to win. We also had a coffee van that was very popular this morning and the perfect way to warm up. As the morning tea was on we had all our friends outside enjoying the sunshine we had friends at the tables puzzling the puzzles together and working together to piece them all back together, cooking and creating in the MUD kitchen, digging to the middle of the earth in the sandpit, walking and balancing along the obstacle course using their arms to help guide and balance as they made their way along the course and up on the deck on the other picnic tables we had drawing with two tables using the crayons and textas we had lots of beautiful drawings being created today many of the drawings were filling up in all our friends bags.
Seb, Blaze and Eric were spying on people through the metal grate under the ramp. Hallie was doing some yoga on the mats.
We came inside just before 10am, making our way to the bathroom to wash our hands as we transitioned inside we all gave Miss Sophie a hi five as we past as today is Hi Five Friday for our Be Kind Program. We had a short group time today as we were all wanting to eat our morning tea. Today we had yummy fruit toast with honey drizzled on the top adding some fresh fruit on the side. It was very yummy and certainly filled up all our friends bellies.
We all had a fantastic time playing with the Biggest Morning Tea games. Playing bean bag toss together and trying to get the tea bags in the tea cups, dancing to the song ‘Happy’ playing musical statues, and we played the balloon game where we all had to keep the balloon up in the air by pushing it up not letting it touch the ground.
Blaze was building towers with our giant building blocks. Hannah, Poppy and Jesse were enjoying playing with the bells, making different music and rhythms.
Our friends also had Arakan with Mr Daniel today out in the Kindergarten sandpit area.
Wow what a fun day together. We played lots of games and found some very fun activities to do!!!!!
We hope that everyone that came to the Biggest Morning Tea enjoyed themselves, thank you for supporting the Cancer Council.
See everyone on Monday, we hope that everyone has a lovely weekend with friends and families.
