Happy Monday Kindergarten 2 Families
We just wanted to say another big thank you for coming to our open day on Saturday. It was a pleasure to have you all there and to see all of you!
What a lovely start in the week we had….even though we had a few clouds about this morning we still had a fantastic time exploring outdoors. The children loved playing tag…running through the yard trying to catch each other. Others loved climbing on our climbing globe next to the fort and hiding in the cubby houses playing family!
We came inside a little early today as we had a show coming up. We gobbled down some fresh fruit salad with yogurt and granola and part in all the different activities. The big 50 piece group puzzle was a hit on the mat. With the children doing team work and helping each other putting the puzzle together.
Drawing was super popular with two tables full of friends using their own imagination and creativity to draw! We had some beautiful pictures coming out of this!
The Polydron connecting shapes were busy too….so great to see how much their fine motor and hand eye coordination has improved since the start of the year, with the children having no issues anymore putting the shapes together into great buildings!
We went down to our Pre-kindy yard to join the show. “BugKidz” the show was called with a cast of puppets and life insects. The show educated the children through a fun storyline, insect puppets, music and real insects. The children learnd interesting facts about Australian Insects, The Environment and safety in the childrens backyard. What a great Show!
