Happy Tuesday Kindergarten 2 Families,

in the morning we had a great time exploring our outdoor yard. The cubby houses have been a real success in the yard with our friends playing role games, finding yard equipment to transform into doors and fences to fence of their little home. So great to see them using their imagination and connect with their friends and peers.

We came inside for some yummy morning tea of fresh fruits and healthy cake slice and our friends waited so patiently on the mat until everybody was finished and the tables ready set up to play.

We had a Halloween art activity which helped the children practice their fine motor skill as well as use their imagination. They had to use little thin sticks to put glue under a skull stuck to the black paper and were then able to stick the cotton sticks on top of the glue to create their own skalatons.

Home corner was super busy with our friends setting up a big picnic on the red mat, they moved all the plates, cups and cutlery and sat in a circle to chat and take on their little roles.

Drawing was very popular. The children used pastel crayons as well as pencils to follow their own creativity. We saw flowers fields, houses and so many more beautiful pictures.

The boys had a great time at the building table using our big shape blocks. They took their time and concentration to put the pieces carefully together and create amazing buildings.

For afternoon tea we shared Miss Nadines Birthday cake. She had brought in a Marble cake and the children loved munching them down, ready for another fun play time outside

What a great day

Thank you and see you all again tomorrow

Miss Dani and Miss Nadine
