Happy Tuesday families and friends. We hope have had a nice day so far just like we did in Kindy.
Due to wet weather this morning we were only able to explore the sandpit yard where we developed our motor skill, imagination, creativity, social and body coordination through activities such as drawing, making castles, balancing on wooden logs, hide and seek and digging sand with shuffles and trucks.
At 9.30 we headed inside for group time, where children followed the group time routine including singing songs, greeting the classroom, acknowledgement of country, identify today’s day, date and weather and this week’s letter (letter F), made the sound ‘F’, air-traced the shape of it and identify objects in letter F card.
Morning Tea consisted of fruit crumble with oat and custard. After that, Miss Qiu talked about sea turtles and Charlie shared his experience watching sea turtle hatch with his friends.
Today’s activities for children to explore was connectors, wooden blocks set up at tables by teacher’s helper, Theodore. The ocean animals and legos were still big hits! Everyone also showed their creativity through participating in a painting activity with Miss Sana.
Before Lunch (felafel with bread and salad), Theodore demonstrated his show and tell to the classroom and answered to his friends questions at the end. Thanks, Theodore for sharing. Miss Qiu then introduced the box- ball toss game to our friends and explained all the rules for it. We were impressed by some of our friend’s aiming skill.
Thanks Kindergarten Two for a lovely day.
Lots of Love,
Miss Qiu and Miss Sana X.
