Dear families and friends.

Welcome back to another fun day in Kindergarten Two.

This morning, the children were given a variety of opportunities to explore outside. Activities such as stepping-stones, bouncy dragons, balancing beam, spinning disks, slide, sand pit, kitchen and climbing fort.

At 9.30, children were asked to line up, wash their hands and sit down for morning tea (raspberry cakes with fruits). To start our group time, the children were transitioned to pack away and sit down on the mat. First, we started by singing songs and continued by saying good morning to our everyone and identifying today’s day, date and weather. Second, we sang happy birthday for Connor and made him beautiful wishes. Then, the children air traced letter ‘H’, made it’s sound and identifies objects on letter H card. To celebrate the Earth week, Miss Qiu introduced a few ways to keep the earth nice and clean.

The activities which children choose to explore were collaging with Miss Sana, vegetable memory game, playing cards and sea/farm animals. The children also explored an activity with Miss Qiu where the enjoyed making a picture of the earth on paper plates using shaving foam and food colouring.

All children participate in the yoga class today with Miss Hailey. We then listened to Eden’s adventures with Mr Cockatoo and asked her questions at the end. At last, children enjoyed sausage rolls with tomato sauce and vegetables for lunch.

Thanks everyone for a nice day.

Love,

Miss Qiu and Miss Sana x.
