Morning tea- cake with fruits

Morning group –
We started with our morning routine:
• Good morning song
• Days of the week
• Counting and number recognition
• ABC and letter recognition
We then read Lucia’s book called ‘Peppa visits the outback’ and read another book called ‘how things go’ based on Ollie’s request. We focused on the page about airplanes to learn about things Ollie experienced on the weekend in an airplane. Miss Thea showed children our plants which has grown a lot; however, we are still waiting to see the flowers. Children then helped Miss Thea with revising our classroom rules and thinking of examples for each rule.

Before lunch, children continued playing for a bit longer. They then did such an amazing job in packing away the toys. On the mat we enjoyed Fynlee’s book called Frozen. As we read the same book yesterday, we decided to come up with our own story based on the pictures,
