Good afternoon families!

Today we have had a very relaxing day indeed.

After spending the morning outside playing with our friends and riding bikes and scooters we combined in the pre kindy room with the kindergarten class to participate in a yoga class with our new friend Miss Lauren. We learnt new poses and had a good stretch. Hunter was so relaxed that every time he took a deep breath he had to yawn. All of us educators joined in to encourage the children to give it a go too. Miss Lauren will be joining us every Wednesday morning to help us relax 😀

After morning tea we seperated into our own class room where we met Mr Blaire, he came in to relieve Miss Nicole for programming. Mr Blaire was great fun – he helped us to create rainbow art out of glue and paper, built ginormous towers with us and he pretended to be a dragon while Aleks and Pearl hid in the castle. Issey helped Mr Blaire to watch the children this morning and did a very good job making sure every one was playing nicely.

Hunter met with some speech pathology students from Griffith University and they helped him complete puzzles and sort coloured blocks, while observing his interactions with peers and educators.

The shape of the week is circle and the colour of the week is blue.

If you are interested in having your children participate in the speech pathology observations with students from Griffith there are consent forms in the foyer of the center.

Please note that this Saturday we will be having our Easter craft afternoon and drawing our raffle. Raffle tickets will be going home with your children and money can be returned to Miss Nicole. (Each dollar raised goes back into the room)

Have a great night and see you in the morning for another fun filled day!
