Our Day…

What a great day to end the week! For this morning’s activity Miss Cheryl made ANZAC cookies with the toddlers everyone sat at the table interested to see what Miss Cheryl brought in for the toddlers. Michael, Dylan, Samar and Arden were very captivated when Miss Cheryl explained what she was doing, poring flour, mixing and adding assorted ingredients. When all the ingredients were mixed together miss Cheryl rolled into balls and put them on a tray all toddlers sat and watched very interested in what was going on. Then after Billy, Chloe, Matthias, Arden, Michael, Dylan, Hollie, Mia Lucas and Samar got to have a sneaky taste of the cookie dough “yummy!” said Billy “more” said Arden and “hmmmm” said Mia. We got to enjoy the special ANZAC cookies for afternoon tea, thank-you Miss Cheryl!

It is so amazing to teach toddlers and watch them grow. This morning for group time the toddlers copied Miss Des’ree’s actions to slipper fish. Using their bodies, we acted like fish, octopus, whales and jelly fish they all participated and showed great concentration and amusement. Parents if you have any spare time the lyrics is beneath.

Have a lovely weekend!
