Good afternoon families, we hope you all had an amazing Easter break.

Today we began with a play in the toddlers two room as it is wet and rainy outside. We had a variety of activities for the children to choose. We set out puzzles, books, balls, building blocks and of course home corner and the outdoor net area.

Once all our friends arrived we decided to head back into the toddlers one room for some delicious morning tea.

Today as it is raining we decided to make rain drops with paper, blue food colouring and droppers. The child all really seemed to enjoy this activity. This activity is a good way for the children to work on their fine motor skills by pinch the droppers with their pointing finger and thumb.

We also have sensory bottles, colour boards, big Lego, and more. Sometime after our fun exploring the room it was time for group time. Everyone sat on the mat with Miss Stacey and read a new book called “Oh Dear” we then put on some music for the children to show off their cool moves.

Finally it was time for a yummy lunch and a well deserved rest. This afternoon we will set our some more activties for the children to keep exploring.

We look forward to seeing you all tomorrow for some more fun adventures in toddlers one.

Lots of love,

Miss Aimee and Miss Stacey.
