Good Afternoon Families,
A very short and sweet blog today, apologies as we have had bad internet connection all day!
Well it’s been another wet and rainy day at the Hills, but we certainly still had plenty of fun! Our morning began out in the Toddlers Two undercover area climbing in the net and building train tracks! We then joined Miss Sue on the mat for a combined group time with our friends from Toddlers Two. We split shortly after and ventured back to our classroom where we all enjoyed morning tea inside as a class. This morning we were treated to some delicious jelly, banana and berry sauce. It was sooooo yummy!
Today we celebrated St Patricks day! We spent the morning listening to St Patrick’s Day Party music and participated in a fine motor rainbow painting to help celebrate this special occasion! Some of also continued with our Easter gifts!
The children were just itching to get outside, so we decided to offer indoor/outdoor play utilizing our beautiful deck space that we have. The children enjoyed some rice and nature, sustainable sensory play, free expression drawing on the chalk boards, soft block building, musical instruments and puzzles. It was such a busy yet fun morning!
Before we knew it, Miss Jen arrived for our funky feet dance class! Today was super exciting and special as we got to dance and explore our musicality with maracas and also used the special firbeoptic light twirlers with the lights off to create a special light up performance for ourselves and our friends.
For lunch today we enjoyed some delicious pasta, which is definitely a crowd favourite.
It was perfect weather for a nap today, meaning all our friends had big long naps!
Unfortunately it was raining again this afternoon so we had to spend our afternoon indoors, but we had a lot of fun doing so!
Thank you for a fabulous day Toddlers, have a lovely evening!
Lots of Love,
Miss Stacey and Miss Aimee x
